“Mercedes is moving forward. I hope they find a solution in the near future together with the Russian investor. There is a high probability that it will be an automotive production,” he said.

In turn, he noted that Avtodom will already attract industrial partners because the company itself “is not a manufacturer after all” but “knows how to sell and serve.”

According to Manturov, St. The decision on the future of the Toyota plant in St. Petersburg is “at the exit”.

“Now the Ministry of Industry and Trade, St. Petersburg government is working on possible options for the further development and intended use of the production site. It will most likely be automobile production,” he said.

He added that the decision on what kind of cars these will be has not yet been made.
