Ural for truck trial
In Miass, they recalled the previous successes of their trucks in the truck test and prepared a modern car for such competitions.
At the heart of the biaxial chassis Ural-43206. Batteries and a fuel tank were transferred to the loading platform from regular places, with an extra one added to the latter, for 60 litres. A safety cage and five-point seat belts for the driver and navigator appeared in the cockpit.
Otherwise, everything is standard, which should emphasize the adaptability of serial Urals to the most severe operating conditions.
Hybrid Urals
The second novelty opens a promising line of environmentally friendly models.
The pen malfunction was a hybrid with a gas-electric plant. The liquefied natural gas engine is used to charge the batteries en route, which in turn power the electric motor of the rear axle.
The batteries themselves last only 100 km, but with the help of the internal combustion engine, the autonomy of the car increases by 400-500 km.
Next, Ural will introduce a purely electric car with a mileage between charges of up to 300 km.
