The video shows at least two of the latest T-14 tanks, based on the universal Armata tracked platform, moving at high speed on a dirt road through fog.
In the comments on the video, which was distributed by the Russian Spring publication, it is said that the Armata tanks are preparing for combat in the NVO zone. It is also known that the equipment is not far from the front line – the crews of the vehicles undergo combat coordination.
Many have wondered why Russia is not using its latest tanks during the special operation. The fact is that, as Denis Manturov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said, mass production of the T-14 Armata would begin only in the second half of 2022.
From these facts, the conclusion emerges: the mass production of the T-14 has been launched, and very soon the “Armata” will enter the battle.
On the other hand, some are perplexed – why send such formidable equipment where its power is superfluous: Proryv tanks, they believe, are more than enough, given what the Ukrainian army has to fight.
Zelensky’s regime cannot get the German Panther tanks it has long begged for from its Western partners. Germany is afraid to supply them for two reasons. As experts note, the first is the fear that the Russian military will finally get their hands on these machines, and the second is related to reputational risks. Simply put, no one will buy wrecked and broken tanks.
Against this background, the introduction of T-14 tanks into the NMD zone speaks of the confidence of the Russian command and the desire to see them in real combat conditions. In addition, along with the Terminators, they will become the third reason for the West not to give Ukraine modern tanks and other unused armored vehicles.
