A presentation of a prototype electric car Lada e-Largus took place in Izhevsk. The model was presented to the head of the Republic of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, by the president of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.

E-Largus is the most localized Russian electric car, trial production of which will begin at the Lada Izhevsk plant at the end of 2023.

The electric car will be produced in both the passenger version and the van version. Unlike all new SKD projects presented in Russia in recent months, the share of using components from Russian suppliers will be at least 50% (or 3600 points) at the start of production.

The e-Largus prototypes are currently undergoing a cycle of road and laboratory testing.

About car

A permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with a power of 110 kW is installed on the station wagons. Lithium-ion batteries are located in the engine compartment and the area where the gas tank was previously located, allowing the center of gravity to be lowered for the stability of the electric vehicle and fully preserving the usable volume of the passenger compartment and trunk (560 liters in a five-seater version ).

The e-Largus dashboard has a digital combination that allows you to control all the systems of the electric vehicle, the level of charge and the range, which will be at least 400 km with the driver and 100 kg of payload (according to the NEDC method). The total load capacity of the vehicle is 430 kg. The power source settings allow for a maximum speed of 145 km/h (electronically limited), as well as dynamic acceleration (less than 10 seconds to 100 km/h).

Maxim Sokolov, president of JSC AVTOVAZ, presented the e-Largus prototype and noted that the new car would make it possible to reach the capacity of the Lada Izhevsk car plant, develop Russian technical competences and create a truly Russian electric car. produce.
