— Is it realistic that modern fixation cameras detect offending motorcyclists driving between rows, without license plates, etc.?
– In any case, fixation of motorcyclists is only possible from behind: they have no numbers in front. If the sign is also illegible from behind, it is impossible to identify the equipment and its owner. There is also no fine.
Hiding a license plate on a motorcycle is easier. In the case of a car without a license plate, facial recognition technology of the driver could help, but it is also not suitable for a motorcyclist with a helmet.
As for the types of violations, motorcyclists are fined for the same violations as motorists: speeding, markings, roadside, red light… Well, except for the phone in hand and an unfastened seat belt.
One way or another, fines threatened to be introduced for driving in the “aisle spacing”. But for this you need to hang cameras strictly above the fixation zone. Otherwise the markings will not be visible behind the cars.
So far, there have been no mass reports of such scrutiny.
