A resident of Alexandrov, arriving in Uglich, was amazed at how the problem of visibility of pedestrian crossings during the rainy season is solved in the neighboring region.

He made a short video, capturing the work of the projection “zebra” in the middle of a snowstorm.

The two-tone image of the transition is simply projected onto the roadway by a powerful projector mounted on a pole. Such a “marker” is not affected by the intensity of precipitation or the amount that has already fallen on the asphalt. In addition, the pedestrian himself walking across the crossing is brightly lit.

“Why not make such transitions in Alexandrov?” – asks a reasonable (and easily scalable) question to the author of the video.
