Kia ends production of the Stinger with a limited Tribute Edition. These cars get a unique color scheme, special interior details and a license plate on the driver’s door sill.
The Stinger is a special car for Kia. He showed what the brand is capable of and is now figuratively speaking passing the baton to the Kia EV6 GT. Incidentally, all 1,000 Tribute Edition cars will be equipped with twin-turbocharged V6 engines.
“The release of the Stinger Tribute Edition marks an important chapter in Kia’s history. It is a fitting celebration of the Stinger’s contribution to the Kia brand,” said Chang Sung Ryu, Senior Vice President and Head of Purchasing at CX Design.
The cars are painted in Matte Moonscape Gray, with 19-inch black wheels and Brembo calipers.
The interior of the cars will be upholstered in brown leather and decorated with carbon-look inserts on the center console and door cards.
One point Kia did not specify is when exactly the last Stinger will roll off the assembly line and which countries the 1000 Tribute Edition will be shipped to. Nothing is known about prices either.
