A truck driver from Turkey was forced to stop at the side of the road in the village of Turgenevo, where he was overtaken by traffic police officers who showed themselves to be hospitable.
The inspectors did not speak Turkish and the driver did not speak Russian, but the online translator saved the situation. The Turk said he was out of fuel. The police came to the rescue: they brought fuel.
The foreigner sat in a cold cabin for about three hours, until his truck was noticed by the senior inspector of the road safety inspection of the MMO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Ardatovsky” Dmitry Chembeleev and police trainee Vladislav Galkin.
The tractor did not start. The employees then called a car mechanic who solved the problem. This allowed the engine to start, which made the driver very happy.
“On leaving, the Turkish citizen thanked the police officers through an online translator for their help and indifference to someone else’s problem,” the Interior Ministry website reported.
