Russian premium automaker Aurus plans to produce 200 Komendant SUVs by 2023.
This is the total number, including cars produced at the Aurus plant in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as at the FSUE NAMI production site, the company said.
For comparison, the company cited statistics on sales of cars from foreign manufacturers in the same segment as an example. So, Bentley sold 256 cars in Russia in 2021.
“Aurus plans to produce a similar number of cars, moreover, only one model – Aurus Komendant. Going forward, Aurus plans to increase production volumes in line with the project business plan,” added to the company.
Production of the Komendant SUV started at the end of November. It was reported that the cost will be 33.7 million rubles.
