In Russia, the number of people wanting to buy a decent car in good condition from abroad is growing, experts say.
The number of advertisements for the sale of cars from abroad in January-November 2022 on the Avito Auto platform increased by 127% compared to the same period last year.
The average price of a used car from abroad is 1,370,000 rubles.
Most often, sellers offer used cars of the following brands to order:
- Toyota
- Honda
- Nissan
- kia
- BMW.
The top five most popular models supplied to order are: Honda Liberated (average price – 900 thousand rubles), Toyota agricultural cruiser Prado (2.5 million rubles)Toyota Alphard (1.4 million rubles) and Nissan Note (870 thousand rubles) and Honda Fit (790 thousand rubles).
In 2022, the share of used car sales advertisements from abroad was 1.6% of the total used car supply. Most of these cars enter Russia through the Far East (51% imported through Vladivostok), 42% of the imported cars are three years old.
