Medical examinations of drivers before, after the flight and during the working day can be performed remotely. The corresponding bill was passed by the State Duma.
“At a distance” the intent is to detect signs of acute occupational disease, poisoning or signs of alcohol, drug or other toxic intoxication.
The order and frequency of medical examinations, as well as the list of examinations, are determined by the Ministry of Health.
The driver undergoing a remote medical examination must be identified. The medical examination will be carried out using modern medical devices capable of automated and remote transfer of health data.
The obligation to personally confirm the state of health is not taken away from the driver, but must be done twice a year.
