For 11 months of this year, the Vladivostok customs issued more than 170,000 cars for personal use, which is 66% more than in the same period last year, according to the press service.
Most cars were imported in November – more than 28 thousand units.
The ruble rose in June to a level of about 60 rubles per dollar (now – 66.35 rubles). As soon as the fortress started, there was a rush to import cars through Vladivostok, and this hype continues to this day, experts say. They import a large number of not only Japanese, but also Korean cars.
