Europrotocol is an indemnification tool in the system of compulsory third party liability insurance of vehicle owners.
A prerequisite for its application is the interaction (collision) of two vehicles, the civil liability of the owners of which is insured in accordance with the Federal Law “On Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners”.
Since only one vehicle was involved in the accident, the traffic police officer’s argument cannot be accepted.

If registration of documents about the incident is not required, it was possible to leave the scene of the incident without calling the traffic police.
