A prototype Volkswagen Tiguan was spotted during a road test. His body is painted white. This made the stickers masking his design stand out more than on the black prototype.
Like the black car, the white one has the same fake “grille” taped over the edge of the hood and the top of the bumper.
Also visible are stickers on the sides of the air intake in the bumper.
The idea is to make the crossover look just like the current Tiguan. But the grille of the new car will be very narrow, just like a new one. WV Golf.
More fakes can be seen from behind, with even the tailpipes being mere stickers.
It is difficult to determine the dimensions from the photos, but it seems that the car has become larger and the wheelbase has increased. This promises a more spacious interior and a spacious trunk.
Inside, the Tiguan gets a large square touchscreen in the form of a tablet.
No changes are expected under the hood – the company’s engineers are busy developing electric vehicles, not new combustion engines. The crossover will be equipped with the same petrol and diesel engines and hybrids. There will be no electric version: for this vw have ID.4.
As before, both front and all-wheel drive variants of the crossover will be offered.
