In Russia, they began to offer Chinese SUVs BAIC BJ80, which are very similar in appearance to the German ones Mercedes—Benz G—class (Gelendwagen).
The equipment of the car is not as rich as that of the original, but not bad either. There are air pressure sensors in the wheels, a rear view camera and parking sensors, climate control, keyless entry in the cabin and engine start with a button, cruise control, an electric sunroof and much more.
There are two engines to choose from. This is a 2.3-liter turbine four-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 250 horsepower. and 350 Nm, as well as a 3-liter petrol engine with 280 hp.
Both versions are equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel drive and a transfer case with a reduction gearbox.
Now the most interesting is the price. The BAIC BJ80 version with a 250 hp engine is offered for 3.9 million rubles.
An SUV with a 280 horsepower engine costs 5.58 million rubles.
The sellers warn that the cars will be delivered to order from China with delivery within 1.5 to 2 months.
