Only 16% are willing to admit they sometimes drive aggressively, Rosgosstrakh Insurance Company and the Wilgud smart car service network found in a survey in early December.
As part of the survey, motorists shared how they rate other drivers on the road:
- the majority drive appropriately and behave politely (53%);
- there are many aggressive drivers on the road (16%);
- many have bought rights and do not know the traffic rules (15%);
- many drivers causing emergencies (14%).
The top 5 most annoying things on the road are:
- dangerous driving at high speed or running a red light (18%)
- not using turn signals (16%)
- frequent rebuilding or “playing checkers” (13%)
- pruning (10%).
- too slow driver in front (10%).
At the same time, the majority of respondents (85%) believe that driving skills do not depend on gender, and only 12% are sure that all problems on the road are caused by female drivers.
What do you like
And drivers like it when they say ‘thank you’ with the help of a gang of helpers (40%), when they let me change lanes (17%) and let an ambulance pass (14%).
Another 13% are grateful to other motorists for roadside assistance in the event of a breakdown.
