Voyah is a premium sub-brand of the Chinese state-owned company DongFeng Motor (DFM). In Russia, it is represented by the brand’s importer, Motorinvest. Today officially announced the start of pre-orders for the brand’s first car – crossover Free.
Voyah Free EV is powered by two electric motors on the front and rear axles. Their total peak horsepower is 488 horsepower. The electric car accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km/h. The power reserve on one charge is 500 km.
Battery charging time varies with charger type, ambient temperature, battery condition, and other external factors.
So the charging time with direct current through the CCS connector, with a power of 120 kW, from 20% to 80% of the charge will be 30 minutes. Charging time with AC power via the Type-2 connector, with a power of 11 kW – 9.5 hours.
The recuperation system converts coasting and braking energy into electrical energy and replenishes the battery. There are 3 operating modes of the system.
Voyah Free was designed by the international Voyah Design Team. The smooth lines of the sea waves became a source of inspiration for the makers. Under the guise of a crossover, you can catch the features of luxury yachts, and the brand logo resembles a soaring bird.
At the rear of the hull, a graceful roofline undulates over the powerful stern of the electric vehicle, separated by an LED taillight line with dynamic turn signals.
Complement the image are 20-inch alloy wheels, designed in the style of turbines.
On the front panel of the cabin there is a “floating” multimedia screen with a 30 mm lift function. When you turn on the electric car, it rises and you get access to three monitors, each with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, on which all the necessary information is displayed. The multifunction steering wheel is covered with genuine leather.
The electric car can already be reserved in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Krasnodar, Simferopol, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Izhevsk.
Prices for the novelty are not yet known, they are expected to be announced at the end of December 2022.
