In the first 9 months of 2022, Lexus sales in Europe fell 28 percent to 27,247 units. The brand’s best-selling crossover, the UX, was the hardest hit, with sales falling 36% to just 10,053 units.
Lexus sales also suffered as the company pulled out of the Russian market, according to Harrison. He noted that 25% of Lexus sales are in Russia. It’s not about compact models, it’s about big models like RX, NX and LX.
