The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, said that car sales are expected to grow next year compared to this year thanks to Moskvich and Haval.
“Production at basic companies is being adjusted and increased. First of all, this is AVTOVAZ, the newly appeared Moskvich, Haval is also increasing production volumes,” he noticed.
At the same time, Manturov clarified that the forecast indicators for this year will remain the same: the decrease from 2021 will be 55%, sales will not exceed 750 thousand cars.
For 2023, experts expect sales of about 670 thousand cars, which will be a historic minimum in recent years.
