Concern General Motors plans to create two sub-brands. One is based on the Cadillac Escalade and the other is based on the Chevrolet Camaro. That is, Escalade and Camaro will become brands under which different models will be produced.

It was previously reported that the Chevrolet Corvette will become a separate brand. This will allow the production of various cars “on the theme”, and this is how it will look.

The Escalade lineup will consist of at least a three-row crossover (it already has one) and a crossover-style minivan. Both models are worldwide – their deliveries are scheduled to all countries of the world where GM.

The Escalade also gets an off-road sedan and/or station wagon, just like the Audi Allroad. Will there be a pick-up (that already exists) in the line-up? Most likely. All of these cars will be ideological variations of the Escalade in different bodies.

As for the Camaro, the brand’s lineup will include the already well-known muscle car (including the convertible version), as well as a crossover (three or five-door).

This approach has already been tested by Ford, which released the Mustang Mach-E crossover. Surprisingly, more people wanted to buy it than expected, and the company can’t keep up with the number of orders.

At this time, all this information from Car and Driver remains unconfirmed. About plans GM The publication was narrated by “their own man in the management of the concern.”
