It’s no secret that there are cars that are very easy to resell. There are also those for which you can get more money than you spent. Their main secret is unique features and limited supply on the market.
One of these cars is Suzuki Jimny, says the expert from Za Rulem, the oldest and most authoritative automotive publication in Russia, Sergey Zinoviev. These SUVs of the third generation (2012-2015) with a mileage of up to 100,000 km are now sold at a price of one and a half million.
Yes, this is not a crossover, but a frame SUV – a great alternative to the three-door Niva. The salon is designed for four people, the trunk is modest… But the car has a short base and honest four-wheel drive.
Own Jimny not burdensome. The car has a 1.3 liter engine with only 85 hp. – unpretentious and maintainable. And most importantly – reliable. You can opt for a version with indestructible mechanics or a very reliable 4-speed Aisin automatic transmission.
The Japanese turned out to be a very economical, unpretentious, but comfortable car, the off-road qualities of which are impressive. Compared to Niva, then corrosion Jimny is less afraid and the reliability is higher.
Suzuki Jimny is valued primarily for its off-road qualities. There are a lot of shabby off-road examples on the market, but even those aren’t sitting still waiting for new owners. It is only necessary to sort out the suspension and all-wheel drive, so that the car is like new again.

The model seems unpopular, but on the secondary market it “flies” quickly and expensively.
