Sources from “Behind the wheel” at the factory say that there could be quite a few little things, because Vesta was a rather import-dependent car and everything had to be changed from the “renoshny” to the VAZ standard, all the way down to the fasteners.
And what are the cars that will soon be going to the dealer? Insiders have published a complete set, which, as reported, will have the first series (read – intended for sale) Vesta, which rolled off the assembly line in Tolyatti in the spring of 2023.
According to this data, the equipment will be quite simple – what is called the basic level: air conditioning, 4 power windows, 2 rear seat headrests, a start / stop button, an electronic key, stamped rims.
It is also reported that the cars will have black unpainted mirrors. In the cabin there is no MMC, glossy finish, glasses case, leather steering wheel. The steering wheel itself has buttons on the right spoke, while the left one has a plug. Plugs are also provided for empty spaces above the climate control.
The source writes that the cars will be equipped with a 90 hp engine and a five-speed manual transmission. Note that all data is unofficial and preliminary, but as for the power unit, the situation is unlikely to change in the near future.
