At the end of November, AvtoVAZ handed over the cars of the new Vesta NG family to the St. Petersburg football club Zenit.
The Lada brand will be the official partner of the club during 2023. It is known that the club was provided with sedans and station wagons (SW), also in the SW Cross version. The exact number of cars is not specified.
The Blue-White-Blues celebrated the event themselves with a video featuring legendary photographer Vyacheslav “Palych” Evdokimov, who has been filming Zenit’s games for many, many years.
In the video, Evdokimov famously rides the new Vesta SW Cross, noting that it “starts like Wilmar Barrios”, “you feel like Wendel in the middle of the field” in it, and the spaciousness in the cabin is such that “even Erokhin is comfortable sitting would”.
It is noteworthy that the voice of Evdokimov in advertising is not his own: this characteristic timbre belongs to Maxim Merkulov, who voiced Jeremy Clarkson in Russia.
