Russian manufacturer AVTOVAZ will continue to equip its vehicles with automatic transmissions in 2024.
“During 2024, we will be bringing back the Electronic Stability Control System (ESP) and automatic transmission,” – said the chairman of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov.
What kind of automatic transmissions will be equipped with Lada, the head of the automaker has not specified.
Recall that the main supplier of automatic transmissions to AVTOVAZ was the Japanese company Jatco. Deliveries of aggregates and components to Russia have been halted this spring. Now only cars get on the AVTOVAZ assembly line mechanics.
