At the Russian Health Week in Moscow, Rostec presented an ambulance with armor protection. informs press service of the government agency.

A special medical vehicle was built on the basis of a modified Lada Niva Legend 4×4 Kub and is designed to provide assistance to the injured and injured in the field. Medical “Niva” received 40 mm thick insulated walls and integrated protection from Br3 ballistic steel, which can withstand shots from small arms of 5.45 caliber.

In addition to the fuselage, the engine compartment, gas tank and battery received additional protection. The medical module mounted on the Niva Legend chassis is isolated from the driver’s cabin. It can accommodate up to four people.
