Tax turned into debt: On December 1, the deadline for paying transport tax in Russia expired. The amount of unpaid tax has become a tax debt and fines are calculated on a daily basis.
Penalties are automatically written off: From December 17, fines for traffic violations will be written off almost automatically, with minimal intervention from bailiffs.
OSAGO reference books: from December 19, updated manuals on OSAGO will go into effect, in which changes have been made to the cost of car parts since November 15. This allows car owners to receive insurance reimbursement under OSAGO, appropriate to current repair costs.
State tax credit: Until 1 January 2023, a 30% discount will be extended when citizens pay taxes via the government portal. For example, December 31, 2022 will be the last day on which the contribution can be paid at a discount.
Delay for OSAGO: Until December 31, refugees from certain regions have a delay in purchasing an OSAGO policy. In the event that they become the perpetrators of an accident, payment for them to the victims is made from a special fund.
Entry ban for foreign trucks: until December 31, a ban was introduced on the transportation of goods through the territory of the Russian Federation by foreign carriers from unfriendly countries.
