Owning a premium car is the dream of many motorists. And it seems that now is the most favorable period: according to the vice-president of the National Automobile Union, Jan Heitzeer, luxury used cars in the Russian market now cost almost as much as budget used cars.
“It is a worldwide practice that luxury cars, especially cars older than ten years, become cheaper faster than economy cars. In Russia, prices may have fallen even more, because now people do not prioritize buying expensive cars, the main demand falls on the budget segment, “ – said the auto expert.
At the same time, Heitzeer warned against buying expensive cars at this time, because, for example, brake pads for individual models can cost 30 thousand rubles, while for budget cars – 3 thousand rubles. In addition, with a serious malfunction of such a car, further operation of the car may become unrealistic.
