Inspectors have arrested a drunk 37-year-old driver who has been driving without a license for nine years. His driver’s license was revoked in 2013.
Subsequently, the man was fined 30,000 rubles and deprived of his rights for 1.5 years. But when the court decision came into force, the offender did not go to the traffic police with his rights, but continued to use them.
For nine years, the driver managed to evade responsibility. But recently he was stopped by a team of the traffic police. For repeated drunk driving, a criminal case was opened against him under the article: Driving under the influence of a person who is subject to administrative punishment or has a criminal record (Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) . This article provides for a prison sentence of up to 2 years.
