An unusual incident occurred in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan. A car driving across the Nura River sank through the ice. There were two women, including a pregnant woman, and two small children. They were lucky that 21-year-old Orazaly Asylkhanov traveled with them in the cabin.
The man jumped out of the car and started to save the others. He broke the glass of the back door and began to pull out a pregnant woman, his wife. Then he took out another passenger and her two babies.
“He brought out a one-year-old baby and a girl about five years old. She was unconscious. He was not confused, provided first aid, pumped the children away,” said eyewitnesses.
Now the young man is in the hospital with suspected pneumonia. Asylkhanov modestly does not consider himself a hero.
“I don’t think there’s anything heroic about it. This is a normal reaction of every man. Now my fiancé and I are in the hospital, we had a high fever at night. The doctors said we might have pneumonia. I hope we will recover before the wedding, ”said the brave groom.
