In Mexico! Craftsmen were found there who not only wanted to combine an airplane with a car, but also did so with a Mercedes-Benz bus and a Boeing 727 airliner.
The aircraft’s wings and tail were cut off, but the cockpit and a ladder for loading passengers remained. They removed the chassis, steering and fuel tank from the bus. The device was designed by VACA Limousines. The invention was called “Boeing Limousine”.
The machine is 16.5 meters long, weighs almost 11 tons and reaches speeds of 200 kilometers per hour. On one of the American sites they write that it is not recommended to accelerate like this. The cabin (or on board) can accommodate 40 passengers with the same comfort as in a private jet.
A Los Angeles company bought a car from the Mexicans for 275 thousand dollars (16.7 million rubles). A year ago, a limousine sold for a million dollars.
