“I owned a VAZ-2131 car with an injection engine and installed an air conditioning kit from the Niva collector. I analyzed the electrical circuits of other cars and built my own control circuit based on that using a string on the electronic control unit (ECU).
In regular circuits, a signal request to turn on the air conditioner comes from the control button (+12 V) to the computer and a signal is output to the compressor relay. As soon as we put +12 V on the first wire, the ECU increases the engine speed, the driver can shift gears, get out and push his “horse”. This is of course not safe. It is advisable to install a “check”, as on snowmobiles and jet skis, so that if the car “runs away” from the owner, the engine will stall.
The second plus of the refinement is that the fan for blowing the main radiator is also turned on. This can keep the engine from overheating in traffic or off-road.

Owners of foreign cars can be advised to help themselves in such a situation by remembering which fuse or relay is responsible for turning on the air conditioning compressor clutch. By removing this element and turning on the air conditioning with the button on the instrument panel, there is a good chance that we will achieve the same effect. And the compressor will not take precious horses from the engine, and the speed will increase, and the fan will spin. Of course, this only works on fairly basic cars. And about the mechanics!
