a. Comical look, no visibility
Kangaroo looks a bit out of proportion.
It is noticeably longer than the Oka (3600 mm versus 3200 mm), but already Renault Twizy (1345 mm versus 1381 mm).
In addition, the side mirror housings (as in all normal cars) are not’s) the widest part of the body, but the rear wheel arches.
There is little to see in the side mirrors, in the stream it is very difficult to rebuild. Optional heating for 9500 rubles must be ordered, otherwise you will be completely blind.
2. Warm but not safe
Microclimate nice in the cockpit. Air conditioning for 80,000 rubles is, of course, an unnecessary luxury for such’one machine. But an autonomous diesel heater is part of the basic equipment.
By means of eight deflectors, it effectively heats the small cabin, and the slots in it provide ventilation on the go.
It is better not to think about safety.
A crash test cabin of composite panels on a steel frame has the right to fail. The driver’s legs are stretched to the front corners of the cabin, there is no airbag.

3. Moped dynamics, range of cyclists
The kangaroo barely moves. The indicated maximum speed of 65 km/h was not achieved. On a straight line, the car gains 55-57 km/h, uphill without a load 35-38 km/h. It’s scary to think what will happen if you load 500-600 kg as allowed by the manufacturer.
Power reserve depending on the battery installed (three options to choose from) is 90, 170 or 340 km. In reality, it will be possible to drive around 130 km on a medium capacity battery in the city.
If you constantly drive on empty roads in the “throttle to the floor” mode, the battery will end up within 100 km.
In the city dynamics and maximum speed Kangaroo is enough not to disturb the flow. Maneuverability is not very good at such small dimensions: the turning circle is large. But a rear view camera and parking sensors are regularly installed.
There is only one seat, in the middle of the cabin. The chair is primitive in shape and with a minimum of adjustments.
four. Don’t go to the track, take care of the tires
Handling and suspension are not designed for high (more than 50 km/h) speeds, nor for bad roads. But in the metropolis, these shortcomings are not critical.
And on the job to keep the Kangaroo working all the time is stupid, dangerous and unprofitable.
Ties 135/70 R12 (front) and 145/70 R12 (rear) are not easy to find on sale. Therefore, they are at the level of “adults” 205/55 R16.
5. A Maybe we shouldn’t?
Kangaroo price – from 1.06 million rubles. And in the complete set it is approaching 2 million, like Largus or Gazelle Business!
It is clear that an electric unit is still more expensive than a petrol unit and piece production. But the dimensions are small, and the comfort and safety are not at the level of a full-fledged car.
