Sales of the “Argo” and “Atlant” cars will begin in December 2022, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said. This technique will replace some of the Western brands that have left Russia amid sanctions.
“Sollers cars will replace the Ford Transit that left the Russian market. Sales of the first light commercial vehicles will start in December this year,” the ministry’s press service said in Manturov’s words.

The Atlant minibus runs on a 139 or 150 hp diesel engine that meets the Euro-5 standard. A small truck “Argo” is a compact cabover vehicle designed for urban transportation. Comes with a 130 or 147 hp diesel. The level of environmental friendliness is Euro-5.
SKD assembly of these machines in Tatarstan Yelabuga started on November 26. The intention is to start full cycle production in mid-2023.
