The prosecution said that in May of this year, a drunken man beat two traffic inspectors in revenge, near the building of a neuropsychiatry dispensary in Staraya Russa. He struck one on the head with his fist and struck the other’s leg several times. At that time, the traffic police were checking the traffic violation notice.

The Starorussky District Court rendered the guilty verdict in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced a 29-year-old man to 3.5 years in a colony of strict regime, and also deprived him of the right to drive for 3 years and 3 days. The defendant fully admitted his guilt.
