Cars in the Russian secondary market are getting cheaper for the second month in a row, informs analytical agency “Avtostat”.
According to the agency, the average price of a used passenger car in November this year was 1.19 million rubles, which is 2.5% or 30 thousand rubles less than in October.
“People started listing cars for sale more frequently, resulting in more choices for potential buyers. This is causing prices to drop in every segment and age group. It’s also easier to pull off “fresh” and more expensive cars, experts said.
According to analysts, the trend to lower the cost of “secondary” cars may continue. But compared to November 2021, used car prices increased by 29% (268 thousand rubles).
Old Russian car dealers said about new foreign cars imported under the “gray” plan.
