In Helsinki, the first fine was given to those who used studded tires in winter. Dennis Pasterstein, head of the city’s traffic police, spoke about this on the social network Twitter.

“Yesterday, the first traffic ticket was issued in Finland for non-compliance with the ban on the use of studded tires,” Pasterstein wrote.

The city’s police traffic chief also showed what a studded tire ban sign looked like and posted a roundabout map of the area in which it operates.

Previously in the State Duma declarationDespite the supporters of the idea of banning studded tires, it is recommended to continue the use of studded tires in Russian climatic conditions.
