On the eve of the weekend, regional traffic police departments announced Raids and constant checks of drivers on the evening of Friday, November 26-27 and on the roads. The main attention of traffic inspectors will be given to drivers who get behind the wheel while intoxicated.

Thereupon, it was announced that mass inspections of the roads will be carried out by the traffic police in the Penza region, Tula region, Stavropol Region, Khabarovsk Region, Tver region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Ivanovo region and other regions of the country.

In addition, the traffic police in the Republic of Buryatia promised to bring additional traffic police teams to the roads, and the traffic inspectors of the Samara region described “large-scale targeted raids”, in which the maximum number of traffic police personnel, including the “leadership” will take place. In some parts, the police stop all vehicles and evaluate the situation of each driver as part of constant checks.

“We ask road users to be understanding with the implementation of these measures, in connection with carrying out mass checks on whether drivers are drunk,” the traffic police said.
