This car recently won the Pickup of the Day award at the prestigious Bring a Trailer car auction in the USA and really deserves attention.
The frame is from 1935, the body is from 1940, but in 2009 Hot Rod Haven completely redesigned it and filled it with modern speed racing components.
And in 2014, the car was re-equipped – and now it is registered as “street legal”, that is, it is allowed to drive on public roads.
Special is the removable hood, which you rarely see on trucks! Under the hood is a mighty 6.3-liter Chevrolet V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Disc brakes at the front, drum brakes at the rear.
The inseparable “couch” in the cabin is heated and the speedometer is marked up to 200 miles per hour. The car is waiting for its new owner in New Mexico. At this point, the auction for it is over and the final price is $17,250.
