Volga 21V was released in 1959, a rare example of the transition period from the first to the second series. The car is not simple, but with history: Igor Valeryevich Chkalov, an Air Force engineer, Colonel, son of the legendary pilot Valery Chkalov, was the owner.
The car sold on Auto.ru was bought by the current owner from an enthusiast, a great collector, a connoisseur of vintage cars.
The car has been partially restored, the body is in perfect condition, the chrome coatings are all new, the interior is upholstered in whiskey colored leather. All electrical is in working condition.
Brakes, drums, pads, cylinders, rubber and fluid in the lines are fresh. The carburettor, battery, steering wheel, fuel pump, “pan” with filter are also new. The gearbox was recently overhauled and maintained. The rear axle is installed from the GAZ-13 Chaika. Body and engine numbers are legible.
The gear lever is located in the floor of the car (usually in the GAZ-21 it was located on the steering column), since the second owner installed the ZMZ-402 engine (2.5, 70 hp).
The rear-wheel drive sedan has a top speed of 110 km/h. The stated mileage is 3000 km, they ask 750,000 rubles for such a car.
