The driver of an old Volkswagen Beetle was filmed on a busy street in Lima, Peru. The skit was posted on TikTok by @bene_angeles and the video quickly went viral.
As nearby cars move slowly, the driver of the Beetle puts his feet through the hole in the car and imitates the legendary cartoon character Fred Flintstone for a few seconds, dangling them back and forth.
Note that Hanna-Barbera Productions’ animated series The Flintstones shows a family driving their car and moving it with their feet.
Most likely, the owner turned off the engine while the car was driving on a flat road or a slightly sloping road. It’s hard to push a car out of place this way, but it’s possible to keep moving. Although it is quite possible that he just had fun in the traffic jams this way.
One tiktoker even joked that this could be a way to cushion the spike in gas prices seen in recent months. “I know gasoline is expensive, but I don’t think Fred Flintstone’s stinginess could go that far.”, wrote Eric Ticona Hilario.
- In Russia, you can remove car junk using the service “Remove unnecessary things”
- “Driving” can now be read in viber
