Early in the morning in the Kirovsky district of Krasnoyarsk, the police stopped a Gazelle, in the cabin of which there were five schoolchildren, accompanied by a teacher. The driver explained that he was taking the children to an educational institution, but something in his behavior alerted the police and they decided to check him for alcohol intoxication.
The breathalyzer revealed 0.52 mg / l in a man, despite the fact that by law the concentration of ethyl alcohol in the exhaled air today should not exceed 0.16 mg per liter (possible total error of the device).
The driver was immediately removed from the wheel and the students were taken to study on another bus.
An administrative offense protocol has been drawn up against the offender under Article 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (driving of a vehicle by a driver while intoxicated). In addition, law enforcement officers will have to determine the culpability of any legal entity that allowed such an employee to drive a bus and transport children.
