Stocks of cars allow dealers to sell as much as the market requires, there are no complaints about the lack of models, Haval director Andrey Akifiev said in an interview with Kommersant. However, due to high demand, the available configurations are being heavily washed out.

This happened with the Jolion model, for which demand has risen sharply. Therefore, the company is forced to make efforts to cover the shortfall.

Haval recently received a Vehicle Approval (OTTS) indicating the release of the Jolion and Dargo models in China. The company is compensating for the lack of local production due to the increased demand with imports.

Akifiev explained that it is sometimes faster to bring ready-made machines than to solve planning problems for assembling and delivering components. It is not always possible to guess the question and the planning phase is quite long.

He also noted that the component shortage now persists. And sometimes a company has to decide: “take the time to assemble and supply components or manufacture a machine in the same configuration.”
