Well-known video blogger Matt Watson from the UK has released a review of the Russian SUV Lada Niva Legend. The translation in Russian was published by the YouTube channel “Auto News” and unfortunately this translation is machine made and very mediocre. However, the video itself deserves attention. Literally everything in the Niva turned out to be a novelty for Mat.
Unlike his Japanese colleague, who could understand many of the nuances, Watson chose to comment in an ironic style. The spare tire under the hood, the location of the trunk release lever and even the bumpers, exhaust pipe and fenders caused amazement. Driving in the city proved inconvenient, on the highway it was slow and noisy, and only off-road does Niva, according to the Brit, ‘do a good job’.
At the same time, it should be noted that the Niva has stable demand in Europe (for example, in Germany it is not only sold, but also tuned), and even the skeptical Matt Watson in the final advertises the local seller of these cars, stating that ” if you like me, i like weird cars, you should buy it.”
