Last week, information began to circulate on social networks that the restart date for the Lada Vesta NG family in Togliatti could be moved from the previously announced March to the end of next year.

A rebuttal appeared towards the end of the week, despite the auto giant’s press office traditionally not commenting on information other than its own. A message appeared in the “Atypical AVTOVAZ” community stating that the management of the company is not planning to delay the start of the assembly.

In addition, for a number of functions there will be “reserve” positions, ie alternative suppliers, as was the custom in the factory before the arrival of the French.
