In order to maintain demand for cars, mainly domestically produced, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will expand the program of preferential car loans.
Already this year, the regulations will be finalized and, in addition to the previously included categories, will include military personnel and pensioners, reports RIA Novosti.
The initiative to improve the program was taken by AVTOVAZ chairman Maxim Sokolov, who noted that “demand is now falling sharply and social support is needed for those segments of the population that can buy cars, but for obvious reasons the purchase durable goods.”
“We all need to boost demand. In this case, we are not talking about any form of financial support directly from AVTOVAZ or other companies.” he noticed.
