The Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA) has released a new cost guide for spare parts – according to it, OSAGO payments are being considered, and analogues of original spare parts are now being taken into account. Many assumed that with the appearance of analogues, the cost of components will drop significantly, but in fact this is not happening yet.
“It (the reference book) has been compiled according to the new rules for calculating prices, taking into account analogues of original spare parts and taking into account the situation on the spare parts market that has developed after the departure of a number of car manufacturers from Russia ” the PCA said in a statement.
The average cost of spare parts decreased slightly – by only 3% compared to the previous edition of the guides on 19 September. The PCA recalled that that edition once showed an increase in the cost of spare parts by the same amount, about 3%. So, according to the guide, the prices for spare parts returned to the level of the June 19 edition, when the average cost increased by 29%.
